Welcome back to our food blog! Today we're sharing one of our all-time favorite recipes that's sure to become a crowd-pleaser at your next gathering. These vegan Honee Garlic Cauliflower Wings are the perfect combination of sweet and savory and are sure to satisfy even the most skeptical of eaters.
When we first created this recipe, we used Bee Free Honee, but as you may have heard, Bee Free Honee has unfortunately gone out of business. But, never fear! We've got you covered with our own homemade vegan honey recipe that we're sharing below. This vegan honey is the perfect substitute for Bee Free Honee and is easy to make with just a few simple ingredients.
But, even if you don't have time to make your own vegan honey, these cauliflower wings are still just as delicious when drizzled with agave. No matter how you choose to serve these wings, they're sure to be a hit with everyone at your next get-together.
So, without further ado, let's dive into the recipe!

5 tbsp Agave or Vegan Honey
1/4 cup Coconut Aminos or Soy Sauce
3/4 cup Organic Brown Sugar
5 Garlic Cloves, minced
1 tsp Fresh Ginger, minced or 1/2 tsp Ginger Powder
2 1/2 cups Water
3 tbsp Cornstarch + 3/4 cup Water
1 cup Brown Rice Flour
1 tsp Cornstarch
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
Pinch of Sea Salt and Black Pepper
1 cup Cold Club Soda
2 cups Avocado Oil for Frying
Directions:
In a medium saucepan, combine organic brown sugar, minced garlic, minced ginger, water, vegan honey or agave, and coconut aminos or soy sauce. Stir to mix.
Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the mixture comes to a boil.
In a separate bowl, whisk together 3/4 cup water and 3 tbsp cornstarch.
Pour the cornstarch mixture into the saucepan and stir to combine. Cook until the mixture thickens and comes to a boil. Remove from heat.
Cut the head of cauliflower into florets.
In a large saucepan, heat the avocado oil over medium-high heat for frying.
In a large bowl, mix together brown rice flour, 1 tsp cornstarch, sea salt, and black pepper.
Add the club soda to the bowl and stir until the mixture resembles a batter.
Dip each cauliflower floret into the batter and then carefully place it in the hot oil. Fry until golden brown, about 3-5 minutes.
Drain the excess oil from the fried cauliflower by placing it on a paper towel-lined plate or wire rack.
Place the fried cauliflower in a large bowl and pour the desired amount of honee garlic sauce on top. Toss to evenly coat.
Serve and enjoy!
